1. General
The information on WoodCharcoal.in is published in good faith and for general information only. Agochar Tech LLP makes no representations or warranties about the completeness, reliability or accuracy of any product description, article, specification or third-party content on this Site. Any action you take on the basis of information found here is strictly at your own risk.
Nothing in this Disclaimer limits or waives your rights as a Consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to seek compensation for defective goods or deficient service, or to file a complaint at the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
2. Product specifications
Proximate-analysis figures published on product pages — fixed carbon %, moisture %, ash %, volatile matter %, calorific value (kcal/kg or MJ/kg), burn time, lump or briquette dimensions, pack weight and HSN classification — are typical specifications verified at the partner facility for a representative production lot. Actual values may vary by lot and feedstock by up to ±10% due to the natural variability of carbonised biomass. Calorific value and fixed-carbon % are typical figures, not guarantees; for lot-specific Certificates of Analysis (CoA), proximate-analysis lab reports, MSDS (UN 1361, Class 4.2), FSSAI food-contact documentation for cosmetic-grade powders, and PFAS-free lab attestations, email hello@woodcharcoal.in.
All packaging displays the declarations required by the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 — manufacturer name and address, country of origin, net quantity in standard units, month and year of manufacture, batch / lot number, Maximum Retail Price (inclusive of all taxes) and customer-care contact details. The website may show a generic image; the physical pack is the legally authoritative version.
3. Safe use of charcoal
Charcoal is a combustible material and a Class 4.2 Dangerous Good under UN 1361. By purchasing from us you agree to use the product safely:
- Burn only in well-ventilated outdoor spaces. Charcoal produces carbon monoxide; never burn indoors, including in closed garages, tents, RVs or bathrooms.
- Keep away from flammable surfaces, fuel containers and pressurised gas cylinders.
- Use a metal grill, pit or container; never burn directly on grass, wood decking or concrete you don't want stained.
- Fully extinguish coals with water before disposal. Hot ash can re-ignite up to 24 hours later.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from oxidisers, ignition sources and direct sunlight to preserve the fuel's energy content and prevent self-heating.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets while burning.
Agochar Tech LLP is not liable for injury, property damage, or other loss arising from improper use of charcoal products.
4. Activated carbon (filtration grade)
Activated carbon products are supplied for the listed industrial applications (water filtration, air purification, gold recovery, etc.). They are not medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Don't ingest activated carbon for self-medication. For pharmaceutical-grade material with regulatory documentation, request our pharma-grade SKU and the accompanying CoA + FDA-on-request paperwork.
5. Cosmetic-grade powders
Cosmetic-grade bamboo and coconut shell powders are tested for heavy metals and meet FSSAI food-contact requirements. They are intended for use in finished cosmetic formulations — face masks, toothpaste, soaps. We are not the formulator; the cosmetic finished-product manufacturer is solely responsible for the safety, efficacy and regulatory compliance of the end product.
6. Third-party links and embeds
Articles on our blog and resource pages may link to external sites — research papers, FAO / Ministry of Environment / RBI / standards-body publications, certification bodies, supplier docs. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability. A link is not an endorsement, and an endorsement on a linked site is not endorsement of us.
7. Stock photography and product images
Some imagery on this site is licensed stock photography (Pexels, Unsplash) used to illustrate product categories and lifestyle context. Where shown, photos are representative — actual product packaging, lump shape, briquette sheen and pack dimensions vary slightly by manufacturing lot. The SKU specification table on each product page is the authoritative technical detail.
8. AI-assisted content
Some product descriptions, blog posts and FAQ answers are drafted with the help of AI tools and reviewed by a human editor before publication. Where a piece is materially AI-generated and not fact-checked against a verifiable primary source, we mark it accordingly. This disclosure follows the spirit of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 as amended in 2023 with regard to synthetic information.
9. Pricing and availability
Prices and stock are accurate at the time of publication and may change without notice. Promotional codes are subject to availability and may end early. If a price displayed is materially incorrect (typo, system error), we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund — see Cancellation Policy §2.
10. No professional advice
Articles on this site (BBQ technique, hookah set-up, soil amendment, activated-carbon dosing, biochar agronomy, etc.) are educational. They are not a substitute for professional advice — culinary, agronomic, medical, environmental, food-safety or legal. Use your own judgement, follow local regulations, and consult a qualified professional when needed.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Rajkot, Gujarat. Consumer remedies under §34 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 remain available at the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with territorial jurisdiction over your residence.
