Cancellation Policy

When and how a WoodCharcoal.in order can be cancelled — by you or by us — and how refunds are processed.

1. Cancellations by you

You can cancel an order any time before it is dispatched. Once a tracking number has been generated and the package has left our warehouse, the order moves into the return policy and can no longer be cancelled.

  • Logged-in customers: open your orders, find the order, and click Cancel order. Status must be "Pending" or "Processing".
  • Guest checkout: reply to the order confirmation email from orders@woodcharcoal.in within 30 minutes of placing the order, with the order number in the subject.

2. Cancellations by us

We may cancel an order at our discretion when:

  • The product is out of stock or has been discontinued.
  • The shipping PIN code is not serviceable by our courier network.
  • The order shows signs of fraud (mismatched billing/shipping, repeated chargebacks).
  • Pricing or stock information was incorrect on the product page at checkout time.

In every case we'll notify you by email, and a full refund is issued to the original payment method within the timelines below.

3. Refund timelines after cancellation

  • UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days.
  • Credit / Debit card: 5–7 business days (bank-dependent).
  • Cash on Delivery: nothing was charged — no refund needed.
  • Wallet / store credit: instant.

4. Wholesale orders

Wholesale and bulk orders are governed by the purchase order and the terms agreed with your account manager. Cancellation windows are typically:

  • Before raw-material allocation: free cancellation, full refund.
  • After allocation, before production: 10% restocking fee.
  • After dispatch: handled as a return per the wholesale supply agreement.

5. Pre-orders

For pre-order or back-ordered SKUs, you may cancel any time before dispatch and receive a full refund. We'll keep you posted on the dispatch ETA via email so you can decide.

6. Partial cancellations

If you ordered multiple items and want to cancel just one, email orders@woodcharcoal.in with the order number and the SKU(s) you want removed. We'll cancel those line items and refund the difference; the remaining items will dispatch as scheduled.
