Are you a manufacturer or a trader?
WoodCharcoal.in is a manufacturer-led brand — not a trader. We operate our own facility in Rajkot, Gujarat and partner with certified kilns elsewhere in India to carbonise wood, bamboo, and coconut shell into the full product range — lumps, briquettes, powder, fines, and activated carbon. Every product is packed, branded and shipped by us against a single internal spec, which means no middle-margin layers, lot-level traceability, and the ability to customise specifications (HSN, particle size, packing format) for bulk and export buyers.
Where do you deliver in India?
Pan-India to every PIN code through Shiprocket's multi-courier network. Fastest delivery is to Gujarat (1–2 business days), Maharashtra and Rajasthan (2–3 days), and the rest of India typically within 3–5 business days. Industrial-grade and export-grade quantities (≥1 MT) ship by dedicated truck or container directly to the buyer's loading dock.
What's the minimum order quantity for wholesale?
Retail starts from 1 kg; bulk pricing kicks in at 50 kg per SKU. Wholesale rates apply at 500 kg total order value, and dedicated pricing tiers exist at 1 MT, 5 MT, and full container loads (~22 MT). Wholesale buyers should use the wholesale inquiry form to get a tailored quote, an MSDS, and delivery timeline; a per-lot COA is available on request.
Do you supply hookah lounges and shisha cafes?
Yes. Hookah and shisha lounges across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, and Hyderabad use our coconut shell hexagon (26mm/25mm) and cube (25mm/25mm) briquettes. Standard supply is 1 kg vacuum-sealed boxes inside 12 kg cartons, with monthly subscription pricing for high-volume venues. Sample packs are available before committing to a recurring order.
Can you supply industrial customers (foundries, smelters, water treatment)?
Yes. We supply industrial-grade hardwood charcoal lumps (>75% fixed carbon, <0.05% sulphur) to foundry operations and smelters; activated coconut carbon (>1100 m²/g BET) to water treatment plants; and activated bamboo carbon to gas adsorption and pharmaceutical-grade applications. Industrial supply is typically by truckload directly to the customer's facility.
Do you export charcoal from India?
Yes. We export to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, US, EU, and Japan markets. Common products are coconut shell hexagons (hookah trade), cube briquettes (yakitori restaurants), and activated coconut carbon (water filtration). Export documentation includes Halal/Kosher certificates (on request), MSDS, fumigation certificate, and a per-lot COA on request. MOQ for export is typically 1 MT FOB Mundra or Nhava Sheva ports.
How is your charcoal sustainably sourced?
Wood charcoal is made exclusively from plantation timber and pruning material — never primary or old-growth forest. Native fast-rotation hardwoods (mango, acacia, neem, sheesham) replant on 5–8 year cycles. Bamboo regenerates from rhizome after harvest in 3–5 years. Coconut shell is a byproduct of coconut oil and copra production, otherwise discarded. Our own facility and our partner kilns recover wood gas as process heat where possible instead of venting it.
What payment methods do you accept?
Domestic retail: UPI, Razorpay (cards / net banking / wallets), and Cash on Delivery up to ₹5,000. Wholesale: bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS) with 50% advance and 50% on dispatch, or full advance for first-time customers. Export: TT (telegraphic transfer) advance or Letter of Credit (LC) at sight, depending on customer relationship and order size.
